Welcome to Camper Trailer Guides! We’re here to help you understand a bit about camper trailers, folding campers, travel trailers, and the like. We also have a soft spot in our hearts for the old VW camper, so we talk about that too a bit. Here’s a preview of some of the things we talk about.

You can find just about everything you’ve ever wanted to know about camper trailers in our camper trailer guide. If you’re in the market for a camper trailer, or are thinking about renting one for a trip, you can find out about the different types, see what sets the different styles apart, and learn what to expect when you travel in one. The term “camper trailer” is kind of a catch-all for many different kinds of trailers and you can learn about what sets the different types of campers apart from the others.

One of the types of camper trailers, travel trailers are generally at the high end in terms of both price and comfort. Travel trailers generally do not fold for travel, but are sturdier and of better quality than many other types of camper trailers. The two main types of travel trailers are regular trailers that hook up to a standard trailer hitch, and 5th wheel trailers, that hook up to a gooseneck trailer hitch.

Two more types of camper trailers are pop up campers and the folding camper. Both folding and pop up campers are designed to fold down for travel and pop up for use. This makes them easier to tow and still provides for a good amount of room for sleeping and living in when you get to your destination. These trailers are both good for beginners who may not have a lot of towing experience.

Last, but certainly not least, we have a great guide to the VW camper. If you were alive in the ’60s or ’70s, then you almost certainly remember the VW camper, or minibus, and may have even had one. The VW camper was a huge icon to the hippie movement and remains tied to that time in the hearts and minds of many people today. Even if you don’t personally remember the ’60s or ’70s, you’ve probably seen these automobiles on the road today, which says a lot not only about their craftsmanship, but about their allure and attractiveness as well.
